Hartland Home Builders is pleased to introduce you to our personnel:

Shari Davis-Hein is co-owner and president of Hartland Home Builders. She purchased the company from her father, Bob Davis, with her partner, Jeff Hartman, in January 2006 after working under her father’s expert tutelage since 2000. Shari heads up the sales and administrative end of the business. She received both her Bachelor’s & Master’s degree from the University of Michigan before her father convinced her to join Hartland Home Builders full-time in December 2000. Learning the business from the ground up, Shari looks forward to guiding Hartland Home Builders to becoming a more productive, efficient business that has the highest rate of customer satisfaction in the region. In her spare time, she enjoys spending as much time with her new husband, Marty.

Jeff Hartman is co-owner and vice-president of Hartland Home Builders Builders. He purchased the company from Bob Davis with his partner, Shari Davis-Hein, in January 2006. Jeff had been with Hartland Home Builders for 5 years before the purchase but has been in the construction industry since graduating from Hudson High School. Jeff’s the one you’ll see most at the job site as he heads up the field operations of the company. On his days off, Jeff can often be found on his Harley-Davidson or with his wife and family of soon-to-be three children.

Diane Masquelier has returned to Hartland Home Builders as a part-time New Home Consultant in 2004. Diane first started as a Hartland Home Builders customer, purchasing a home in 1994, so she definitely knows the trials, tribulations, and joys of building a new home. Her seven and half years of previous experience at Hartland Home Builders make Diane a great asset. In her spare time, she enjoys slaving in her large yard and garden (whose bounty she often shares with Hartland Home Builders) and playing with her dogs.

Robin Loos is another customer-turned-Hartland Home Builders New Home Consultant. She loved us so much, she didn’t want to leave. While her home was finished in July 2005, she started working in May 2005. Having spent a lifetime in the downriver Detroit area, Robin is adjusting to the wilds of country living. She is very active with her husband and two teenage children and her large extended family.

Heather Soat, CPA, is our in-house accountant. She started with the company in May 2004, and is doing a great job helping Hartland Home Builders button-up its financial procedures, planning and accounting. Born and raised in Jackson and graduated from Northwest High School, she received her degrees from Western Michigan University. Heather has a young son and daughter with whom she enjoys spending her spare time.

Ray Williams’ job description is Finish and Service but that doesn’t adequately describe the role this jack-of-all-trades plays at Hartland Home Builders. His own boss running his own construction company for many years, Hartland Home Builders finally convinced Ray to come work for us in March 2005. Whether finishing the marriage seam or working on warranty work, Ray’s perfectionism and dedication make him a great asset. His wife and three daughters keep him working even at his own home.

Kevin Cobb is the field assistant at Hartland Home Builders. He’s got his hands in just about every stage of the job from helping Jeff lay out a house to assisting Ray in finish work to following up with subcontractors on the job. Kevin started with Hartland Home Builders in April 2005. In his spare time, Kevin is an aspiring rock star playing gigs at local venues several times a month and spends time with his two children, three step-kids and new wife.
